Vi was such a lovely person, and we were always so happy to visit with her whenever we could. I will miss our chats and her sweet smile. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
I can remember the first time I met her, almost 39 years ago. I was “the older women”. She never made any judgements but welcomed me with open arms. Her love and friendship meant a great deal to me. I loved her sense of humour and her love of live. She was an amazing cook and we had many wonderful meals together.( I could never master her roast beef and parsnips. No one cooked them like her). She was a big part of our daughters life. She thoroughly enjoyed her Great Grand Children. Ethan was very special to her. She felt her life was complete when Sydney was born and there was finally another girl in the family. I am glad that she was able to see her walk. For the past several months, she would always ask me if she was walking yet. She fought to the end.and is now at peace and together again with her husband.
It has been almost 6 months since you left this world for a better place. I still miss you a lot. We had many good visits together after your stroke. You said I was your angel, which I will never forget. Rest in peace, Vi. I will always love you. Marilyn (sister-in-law)
