Dear Pat and family…you have our deepest sympathy on Gordon’s passing. Like Gord, I was a Stelco employee for 30 some years, had heard of him but never had the pleasure during our working careers. I did work with Gord during our time on the Stelco Salaried Pensioners Organization…he and I were both in the group of founding members. He was an enthusiastic upbeat and hard working member of that group…a pleasure to be around. He continued for several years to keep us updated on the latest, with timely emails, even after he and I had both resigned from the Organization. He will be missed by us all. Sincerely…Gary Beaudoin
You are in our thoughts during this difficult time. Love to all.
To the Thede Family. You have my deepest sympathy in the passing of Gord, a father, a grandfather. The community of Smithville will always remember Gord growing up here. God Bless. Ivan Carruthers, Smithville

Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss of Gordon. I did not know Gordon that well, but on the occasions when we met he was a very good friend and a pleasant sports rival. I worked in Stelco in the Roll Shops Division and met Gordon when we participated in friendly sports events for the Maintenance Departments. May he rest in peace.
