I didn’t know Ev for very long as I only came to Canada 6 years ago, but joined Westover Artists where he was one of the members. What a wonderful man, such a kind, gentle man which was very much reflected in his paintings. He will be sadly missed by all of us in the art group who knew him.
Our thoughts are with you Paul and your family at this time. May your many memories help you through this difficult time. Hugs Gary and Jean
Thinking of you, Paul, Judy and family at this difficult time. Know that you are in our thoughts.

I met Ev at the Westover Artists group. I recall Ev’s painting to represent his love of nature and to reflect his skill and wonderful talent. His gentlemanly ways and caring nature, warm smiles and sense of humour are among my memories of Ev. I send condolences and good thoughts to his family.
Sincerely, Karen Nickerson, , Waterdown

Dear Judy, Paul and family,
So sorry to hear of your fathers passing . We hope your happy memories of a life well lived will be of comfort to you. Love, Bob and Janet
I met Ev at the Westover Artists Group. A talented artist I admired his work and he gave me several useful tips. But what struck me most was his kind and gentle nature, a true gentleman. I also appreciated his dry wit.
I shall remember Ev with great respect.
