Kelly Jean Lewington (1959 – 2024)
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Kelly Jean Lewington ( nee Rogers) on October 30th in her 64th year.
Kelly passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.
Kelly was a loving wife, mother and sister. Predeceased by her parents Lynn and John Rogers. Kelly leaves behind her beloved husband, Christopher Lewington, of 42 years, her adoring sons Adam (Ashley), Steve and loving brother Edward Rogers, as well as her cherished extended family including several nieces and nephews.
Kelly’s warmth and kindness extended beyond her family to her close friendships, which she treasured throughout her life. Known for her unwavering support, she touched the lives of many friends over the decades, always ready with a listening ear and a helping hand. These friendships brought her immense joy and were a source of strength and laughter through the years.
Her greatest pride and accomplishment was being a mother. She loved her sons, Adam and Steve, with a boundless, selfless heart, and cherished every moment shared with them. Kelly will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will remember her as a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her selfless spirit and infectious smile inspired countless memories and left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation or Royal Botanical Gardens in Kelly’s honour. A celebration of life for Kelly will be held at a later date.
Rest in peace, dear Kelly. Your love and memory will forever be in our hearts.
Chris and family

To Chris and Family….Very sorry and saddened to hear of Kelly passing. I think of Old Dundas friends often. Still have memories of Phil Collins “In The Air Tonight” at your wedding and Halloween Party at my Mom & Dads. Kelly will be welcomed as a Beautiful Angel. Condolences from Paul Bowman

Dear Chris, Adam, Steve and Eddy
So sorry to hear this sad news. I met Kelly in high-school and later on she was part of our family. Kelly always had such a beautiful smile and lovely laugh. Was always great running into her and catching up, once again with laughter and a smile! Rest in peace Kelly, we will see each other again…

Aunt Kelly was an important part of my childhood. When I was small, she’d take me shopping for my birthday, where I could pick out whatever I wanted. I felt very grown up and important doing this with my “cool aunt”. When I was older, I’d like to babysit for my cousins because her cupboards and fridge always had good stuff like leftover KFC (lol) and my most favourite: pancake sandwiches with jam. She was supportive and generous. She was fun with a distinct twinkle in her eye when she smiled. Aunt Kelly please say hello to my dad (another childhood memory: all of us going to MarineLand and she and my dad being the only two willing to ride a rollercoaster while the rest of us chickens watched) for me. Gone way too soon. I will think of you whenever I hear Tom Petty. Love Emily
