Sending love to Betty’s family, and to Murray’s. When Betty and Murray moved in next door, they were senior newlyweds, and very kind, caring, and loving to us all. The pathways Betty had installed after Murray’s big stroke are still in use, and some of Murray’s gorgeous roses still bloom next door, and we always think of them when we see the blossoms. (Dad and I still live on Sunrise Crescent.)
We have postcards from all over the world from their many travels, and hundreds of memories of Betty and Murray, and Berenice, too. The world has lost a most remarkable, intelligent, and generous spirit, but Heaven is lucky to have her home.

I was saddened to read of Betty’s passing. Betty was a delight to know and I know that her family will miss her so very much. I always looked forward to her visits to my shop along with Vicky and missed seeing her over the past years. She enjoyed a long & eventful life that has sadly ended…….

I was privileged to have known Betty for the last several weeks of her life. I am sorry that I did not know her much earlier. She was a fine lady, always so kind and accommodating to me. Her love and devotion to Family and Church shone through in every interaction we had.

My condolences to Dorothy, Vicky and the family. Betty was a lovely lady and neighbour and is already missed. I will be making a donation to the Salvation Army in her memory. Deanna Hyland (301)
