Greg, I’m so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Lynne on the passing of your Dad.

I’ll always remember when you told me your Dad and my Dad belong to the same Union, as they were both electricians.
I also didn’t realize your Uncle worked for the same company I did, HPS. Talk about a small world.

Take care, Sharon Dempster (Joe) & Alex Dempster (Joan March 31, 1928 – August 17, 2017)

We just heard the news and are so very saddened. Prior to his illness, as the loving partner of my Aunt Marg for over 25 years, Lloyd was a big part of our entire family and in all our lives. We were so lucky to have him with us for so many years. He was an uncle to me and my children, brother in law to my parents and a great friend to us all. Lloyd was one of the kindest men I have known and he will be and has been missed dearly. We were blessed the he and Aunt Marg had so many great years together. A sad day for the entire family but we are comforted to know you may now rest in peace Lloyd.

    Pappa Lloyd:
Many happy memories of you and Nanna coming to visit us in Kentucky, and our trips to Canada to visit you, you got us to eating Kraft teddy bear peanut butter from Canada. Our first trip to Florida, you were there, our baptisms,
1st communions… you were there, basketball games, you were there, long hot days in the sun for baseball tournaments….you were there. We are glad that mom loved to take pictures, because we have so many with you and Nanna to remind us just how special a grandpa you were to us. We will miss you dearly. Peace be with you.

    Love Kyle and Ryan Hamilton

I have very fond memories of Uncle Lloyd. Very many memories at the cottage in Wasaga Beach and your yearly trips to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with many other family members. His laugh was impeccable. We will miss him dearly but now he will be reunited with the love of his life Geneva, his brother Orville and mom Be a. Rest in peace Uncle Lloyd.

Lloyd was a great man. He was my dad’s best friend and the best man at my parents wedding. Lloyd became an uncle to me when he and my Aunt Margaret fell in love and lived together for decades before each of them were parted due to their illnesses. Such a shame they could not have been together for the last years of Lloyd’s life as they surely loved each other and deserved to be together. Unfortunately the circumstances that separated them came to be. I can only hope and pray that while Lloyd endured his separation from my aunt Margaret, he remained the happy and wonderful man I always knew.
We had many family gatherings with Lloyd and Margaret present and Lloyd was always highly respected and loved by all. We were saddened at the news of his passing and I find comfort in knowing that he can now be reunited with loved ones such as my father who passed on before him. Rest In Peace Uncle Lloyd.
