In her golden years of life, peacefully passed away in her sleep. Jenny was a vibrant, carefree spirit who was kind to all that knew her. She loved animals, travel, gardening and donating to the slots.
Jenny was born in Hamilton, Ontario. She met her beloved Frank and they spent many years travelling the world and seeing all there was to offer in a life of adventure.
After Frank and her good friend Alice’s passings, she found a new love with John Mykytyshyn and they shared nine wonderful years together.
Jenny was a resident at St. Joseph’s villa in Dundas where she received the best care from the team. The family is very grateful that Jen-Jen was one of their favourites.
Jenny will be remembered by a very special family, Donna, Thomas, Peter, Ross, Linda, Alex, John, Carolyn, Jamie, Matthew, Sam, Benjamin, Julia, Kathy and Steve. She will be greatly missed by her loving niece Sally from Winnipeg and her childhood friend Diane. A special thank you to her longtime care giver Anna.
A panychyda service will take place at Turner Family Funeral Home on Monday October 5th at 10:00am, with graveside service to follow.
May her memory be eternal.
I am deeply sorry for your loss. You and your loved ones are in my thoughts.

RIP Dear Jenny

Just one of my favorite aunts. I remember one time I was at a conference in Toronto and Aunty Jenny convinced me to catch a bus to Hamilton. She met me at the bus depot and we only had one little hiccup on our drive to her apartment
….she blew thru a 4 way stop sign….but no cross traffic so we were ok…lol.
Once I got to her place I tripped over 2 huge boxes (like toilet tissue size boxes) at her front door. The boxes were full of sundries (shampoo, deodorant.toothpaste, vitamins ect) I asked what she was doing with those very full boxes. She said she was sending to under privileged in Ukraine. Can not imagine what she paid for shipping
Just a very generous person.
Auntie Jenny,
as she was known to me, was a cousin to my Mom, Irene Bezruki (Rewun).
Jenny and Frank would often visit and stay with us in Edmonton. Auntie Jenny had a great sense of humour and always kept us laughing. Jenny and Frank introduced us to play Euchre and what fun we had. After they went back home out east, we would attempt a game, but being newbies we would often get stuck and give them a call to iron out the dispute. With the time difference, they would receive a call from us at 1 AM. Thank goodness they both had a sense of humour. Euchre is one of my favourite card games and think of her often when we play.
Jenny always came out west to celebrate many special occasions with family.
May your memories bring you comfort.
Hugs to all family and friends.
Rest peacefully Auntie Jenny.
