December 4th 1926 – January 2, 2026
It is with heavy hearts we share her passing at St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas. She is predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Victor Herbert Mann, in 2011, and siblings Joseph Lahoski, Eva Craigie, Agnes Groinus, Victor Lahosky, Lawrence Lahosky and Wallace Lahosky. Survived by siblings Irwin Lahosky and Linda Toth. She leaves behind her children Douglas (Lisa), Brian (Sharon), Scott (Liz), Joanne Mann, her 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Born in Saskatchewan, she lived her adult life in Flamborough, on the family dairy farm. Her summers were spent looking after her 10 acre market garden and vegetable stand and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. The family will have a private interment at Glenwood Cemetery at a later date. We would like to sincerely thank the devoted staff at the Villa who cared for our mother during these past 5 years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas.
Sending sincere condolences for your loss. I have many fond memories of Aunt Fran. She was a lovely lady.
Rest peacefully Fran. You and mom can catch up now. I told you once that my visits to the farm were the best times of my life and I meant it. Thank you.
Fran was a warm and caring lady who was loved by all that knew her.
Always light hearted and easy going. She will be greatly missed.
May she rest in peace.
Sincere condolences. Auntie Fran, I did love to chase the bantam roosters when I was kid. I am glad that mom and I visited you before she passed.
My sincere condolences to the family. Fran was a remarkable woman who excelled at everything she did.
My late Father, Ted Matkowski, always made sure on visits to Ontario to see his cousin Fran and her sisters. He treasured the many good times of fun and laughter they had reminiscing of their younger years
May she rest in peace.
