Barb Tatone
October 9th, 1949 – August 13th, 2024
With deep sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Tatone (Norris) on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024. She left us peacefully with her husband Ozzie by her side. Barb was a nurse, mother, grandmother, quilter extraordinaire, award-winning gardener, and one-time business woman.
Barb was predeceased by her parents Dr. Lance and Agnes Norris. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, children Jennifer (Patrick), Lance (Cameron), Stephen, Elise (Fred); grand children Bridget, Steve, Robbie and Mike and by her brother Ron (Joan). Barb also enjoyed the laughter and camaraderie of her in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She loved family so much and enjoyed every minute with the Tatone clan from when she was first brought home by Oz. She will be missed terribly by all.
Barb will be cremated according to her wishes. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. The family would like to thank all the many professionals (and there are dozens) involved in Barb’s care over the past few years. It’s been a long haul, but you made it good until the very end.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation, the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, or a foundation of your choice.
Sending heartfelt condolences to the entire Tatone family. Barb was truly one of a kind and will be missed ❤️
My sincere sympathy to you Ozzie and the Tatone and Norris families – you were her greatest joy. I’m privileged to have had the past 6 months to reconnect with Barb my friend from K-W nursing school. Rest in Peace, my dear friend.°
My sincere condolences to the Tatone and Norris family.
Barb and I met at K-W Nursing school. We were all so young in those days.
I am so sorry to hear about her passing.

My thoughts are with the family at this difficult time. I hope that you will find comfort in many happy memories.
From the days when the Tatones lived in Deep River we were introduced to a very kind and talented woman. We shared a number of beautiful Christmas dinners prepared by Barb. Her talent with working with fabric will certainly leave a number of legacies for years to come.. The Festarinis would like to extend our condolences to the Tatone family and hope that there are many good memories of an outstanding wife, mother and Nonna.
Sincere sympathies to you Ozzie and all the family. Fond memories from or K-W days will be with us all!
Condolences to Ozzie & family from Bob & Irene Marinelli & family. While we only met Barb a few times, we remember joyfully our time together. We wish there were more.
