July 8, 1929 – November 4, 2018

Green, Catherine Norma – Of Dundas at the age of 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Blackadar Continuing Care.  Born July 8, 1929 in Hamilton, ON, she was the daughter of the Late William Biggins and Mary (May) Biggins (Weightman).  Norma, as she was known by all, loved to bowl, play euchre and do 3D paper toll.  She loved spending time with her family, either playing euchre, bowling or just sitting out in the back yard talking.  Surviving Norma is her loving husband Jack F. Green of Dundas, son Brett (Louie) Green of Dundas and daughter Darci Beamish (Green) of Calgary, her three grandchildren Christopher Beamish (Melissa), Kimberly Vockins Beamish and Cameron Beamish, and her two great-grandchildren Marshall and Vayda, as well as her sister-in-law Jane Biggins and her brothers-in-law Dave Green, Brad Clarke and Jack Peer.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Norma will be deeply missed by her family.  Norma was predeceased by her brother William Biggins, daughter-in-law Christine Green, son-in-law Dale Beamish, brothers-in-law Allen, Alf, Art, Ern and sisters-in-law Mary, Annalee (Polly) and Sally.  Special thanks to Dr. West and all the nurses and staff at Blackadar’s Continuing Care for the care and compassion shown to Norma during her stay.  In keeping with Norma’s wishes, cremation has taken place and an inurnment was held with her family at graveside.  If you so wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
