MacRury, Brendan David – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brendan who died suddenly at McMaster Hospital. Cherished husband to Michelle Parrish and loving daddy to Havana. Brendan was the beloved son of Jan Freeman and Alastair MacRury and brother to Kiara (Thomas) and uncle to Natalie.  He will be sadly missed by close family friend, Thomas Waram.  He will be fondly remembered by his aunts Judy Freeman-Werstiuk (Nick), Marita MacRury Easton (Ken, deceased), uncles Russ Freeman (Lynn), Ross Freeman (Kelli), and cousins Christopher Freeman (Colleen), Paul Freeman (Miranda), Angela Freeman, Brittany Gordon (Josh), Kendall Perro (Luke), Connor Werstiuk as well as many second cousins.  He will be welcomed home by all his grandparents.  Brendan will also be missed by his many loyal friends.  Despite his many struggles and challenges, Brendan made a great impact on his world.  He had a strong sense of justice and beneath his rough exterior, had a gentle and loving heart.  He passionately loved his family, had a firm belief in God and dreamed of a better world.  Brendan has a special place in the heart of Havana whom he adored.  He will be remembered by his friends as one who had a strong sense of loyalty, and who loved music that had a powerful message.  Above all, Brendan loved to run and exert himself to the limit.  We want to express our gratitude to all those who valiantly strived to save Brendan`s life at McMaster Children`s Hospital Emergency Room.  Friends will be received by the family on Monday evening, July 18th from 7-9 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where Brendan’s Service will take place on Tuesday morning at 11:00.  Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens.  If you so wish, donations to Brendan’s stepdaughter, Havana (In Trust) would be greatly appreciated.
