September 18, 1945 – March 28, 2016
It is with extreme sadness that I announce the sudden and unexpected death of my beautiful husband Richard Herod on Monday March 28th while vacationing in Florida. Deeply Mourning his loss are his wife Cathy, son David (Nadine), daughter Mary and his four beautiful grand-kids, Emily, Reid, Grace and Dre who absolutely adored him. Also left to mourn are his sister and brother-in law Deb and Bob Walters, grandson Michael, daughter Lisa and brother Brian (Jane). Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday, April 5th from 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. A private ceremony will be held to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mac Sick Kids would be greatly appreciated. Cremation has already taken place.
We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Herod family for this sudden and tragic loss of Rick. There were many family memories for the Arrigos’s and Mangialardo’s as kids growing up.

I just found out that Richard passed away earlier this Year.
I am so sorry for your loss of Richard at such a young age.
You will still travel together Cathy as he will always be in your heart, memories and thoughts.
