MacDonald, Authaley Bertha (nee Pyle) – Peacefully at the The Meadows Long Term Care in Ancaster on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Predeceased by her husband Michael (2003) of 49 years. Predeceased by her brothers Gerald (Alexina) and Otto (Alice) and niece Donna Marie Pyle. She will be dearly loved and missed by her many counsins, nieces and nephews, especially her nephew Ken. Authaley loved to paint and loved her many good friends. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday evening from 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where Authaley’s Service will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment High Banks Cemetery. If you so wish, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Dear Ken and Maureen, So sorry to hear about Aunt Authaleys death. You will both miss her as she has been a big part of your lives especially in the years since Uncle Michael passed away. I am sure she appreciated the time you spent with her Ken. Our prayers and condolences are with you.

So sorry to hear about the passing of sweet “Aunt” Authaley. Although we only met her on a few occassions it feels like she was part of our family just from all the stories over the years. You will miss her but now her suffering is over and she was blessed to have lived a long and active life.
