Pat was a great example of how to enjoy life. Whether it was golf or fishing or just story telling, he was fully engaged and a dominant figure. Really glad I had a chance to know him.

I am very sad to hear of Pat’s passing and offer my condolences.

I have great memories of our Myrtle Beach trips and of all our games of golf with Peter Mamer, Jimmy McHugh, and others over the years. I am living in SC now but still tell ‘Pat stories’ down here. His legend is international!
I will miss being able to see him when I get back to Hamilton and Dundas.

So many stories before and after curling with the “old guys” during the mornings at Dundas Valley. We will miss his laughter, his booming voice, and honest candor, and especially his ever present Montreal Canadiens baseball hat.

    A great guy. Sadly missed.

Pat, Dundas Valley Golf Club will not be the same without your towering presence and dedicated support of the Club and particularly the senior golfers. Your fellowship, wit and humor will be sorely missed by all. Farewell dear friend and Rest In Peace.

I was very sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. He was a true gentleman and class act all the way! I enjoyed every interaction I ever had with Pat at the Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club, including the time he summoned me to his home to meet his wife and have a chat about the Club, golf, fatherhood, grand parenting and life. Pat was a truly memorable part of my DVGCC experience from day one.

My condolences to all who knew and loved him. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

I was very saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. He was one of the good ones. I will miss chatting with him at the club. Pat sponsored me into the club in 1973 and DVGCC has been a big part of my life ever since. I have great memories of epic battles between Pat and Jim McHugh and Kent Smedley and myself for $2! What a huge loss.

To Grace and family. I wish you well as you remember a great person who fought for our country supported a fine wife and family and the town of Dundas. I enjoyed my time at Dundas Curling and his kindness to myself and fellow members.
Thinking of you at this time of sorrow.

I am sorry to hear the passing of Pat, he was a very kind and gentle man. I am Al Kraul, father of Ethan Kraul and once was a neighbour to Pat and Grace. I remember having many chats with Pat regarding fishing trips, playing golf and life in general in our garages and backyards. I was always amazed the way he took care of his fish pond, he will be missed by many.

My condolences to Grace and the family,
