I will certainly miss picking up Irene to attend various functions of the Hamilton Police Retirees Association.
The Spring Banquet, the fall Widows get-to-gether and others.

She was part of the four girls I’ve driven for that I called “My Girls”. Now she is the last to graduate.
And of course Irene lived in the same apartment building as I do. She always kept me right on time and would call well ahead of a function to make sure I was driving.

I will miss Irene,I would watch her “jay walk “ across Governors Rd on her way to Hortons from my kitchen window,Heart in mouth hoping she made it safely. She was one of 4 who played fun euchre at West Hamilton Seniors. We often chatted in Metro as she warmed up or cooled off depending on the season before tackling the hill home.God Bless
