Emma passed away peacefully at Queens Gardens on April 6th with family at her side.

Loving wife of Eduard (predeceased).  Also predeceased by her sister Wanda, and brother Ewald.

She will be dearly missed by her sister Rosamunde and her children Irma (Stephen),  Gary (Sally), Monica (Robert), and Paul.

Emma was a kind and caring mother willing to help anyone in need. She loved her grandchildren Matthew (predeceased), Rachael, Lydia (Dan) , Erik (Jen), Krista (Mark), David (Heather), Evelyn (Mike), Julia (John), and Korrah and great grandchildren Summer ( Nicole,Renee) , Zoe, Emma, Ari, Noah, Jett, Kylie, Isabella, Theo, Brooke and Phoebe.

Emma was always kind, giving, sweet and loving. She loved to laugh, and made us laugh too. She always insured that anyone who visited her was well fed and made to feel at home.

She was humble and God-loving and she is now resting in peace with her Lord.

While she will be missed she will live in our hearts and memories forever.

The family would like to thank the staff at Queens Garden for the wonderful care they provided and all who visited her.

Visitation will be on April  13th  at 10:00 am with the Service following at 11:00 am at the Turner Family Funeral Home located at 53 Main St Dundas, Ontario.

Interment at Grove Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Cattel Family Centre (next door to Funeral Home).   In lieu of flowers donations to St John’s Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated.

    Dear Paul and family,
I am holding you closely in my heart and thoughts during this very sad time.
“Those we love don’t go away.
They walk beside us every day
    Unseen, unheard, but always near
Still loved, still missed and very dear.”

    With love,
    Katharine and Russell

    Paul:
Wanted to express my sympathy on the news of your Mom’s passing. I have many good memories of dropping by your house growing up and your Mom always being there with a smile on her face…I don’t recall her any other way. Life continues but not always with those we love at our sides, I wish you strength and memories, many of them.
I would prefer to pay my respects in-person but will be out-of-province that day.

    Andrew Zabel and family
