Leroux, Robert Michael “Bob” – Peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital after a brave battle with cancer, on Friday, October 20, 2017, in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Valen “Val” (nee O’Brien) and loving father to James Leroux and Matthew (Emily) Innes-Leroux. Bob is survived by his brothers; Larry, Paul, David and Kevin and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Mark. Bob was a member of the Dundas Senior Citizens’ Club. Friends will be received by the family on Friday morning from 10 until the time of Bob’s service at 11 o’clock at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, followed by a reception at the Cattel Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dundas Senior Citizens’ Club would be appreciated by the family.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of Bob. I am saddened by this news. Bob and I first met in Grade 9 at Dundas District.
Larry and I were in the same class somewhere along the line as well. I have fond memories of buying my first record player from Bob along with an LP by the singing nun. We used to hang out at the arena watching Intermediate A hockey on Friday nights.
I used to see Bob and Larry at the Real McCoy games in later years. I had not seen Bob in recent years as I have moved from the area. Bob was a great guy and will be missed.

Sorry to hear about Bob’s passing Val. I spent many years of working, and laughs, with your hubby at Dofasco in Production Control. I see he was from a family of 5 other male siblings, just like myself. No sisters and only 3 brothers.

Very sorry to hear about Bob,I knew he was sick but didn’t realize it was that bad. Wish we could come down but not feeling that great myself Iam also fighting cancer.Will make donation to Senior Citizen’s Club.

So sorry to hear Bob has passed. Bob was well liked at Dofasco and it was always a pleasure to work with him. My wife Karen and I have good memories of sharing an American Thanksgiving dinner with you in Florida many years ago. I’m sure your family has many fond memories to fall back on.

Hi Val. So sorry for your loss. I was on my way to the funeral home, this morning, to see you when I received a call of identity theft. By the time I called everyone that I should, it was past 11:30 a.m. I am living in Burlington and would not have made it in time. As you know, you and Bob spent plenty of time together with me as both of you began dating, as I was. We had lots of fun back then. So sorry that we all lost touch with each other over the years. I hope you can take all those happy moments to comfort you as you move forward with your family as you all mourn. Always thinking of you and Bob!
