Harper, Marjorie Lois (nee Hannah) – April 19, 1936 – April 18, 2017 – It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Lois, hours shy of her 81st birthday. She leaves behind her devoted husband of almost 59 years, Allan, and four loving children Ken (Brenda), Cheryl (Joe), Doug, and Janet (Darcy). Known as the coolest and hippest grandma ever, she leaves behind 7 grandchildren Nicole, Rachel, Michelle (Brian), Jessie, Ben, Matthew, and Jacob as well as 4 great-grandchildren. She was always their biggest fan and the most special wife, mom, and grandma anyone could ask for, She also leaves behind her loving sister, Dot & husband Scrub, and will always be remembered as “Aunt Loisi” by Sandy (Mike), Greg (Joanne) and their families. Lois will also be missed by her many cherished friends. Friends and family are invited to the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St., Dundas, on Friday April 21 from 6-9p.m.. The service will be held in the chapel on Saturday April 22 at 10a.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Al and family…..Gary and I send our deepest sympathies….a lovely lady lost….such fond memories we have of her…..we will both miss her and will find it hard to come to terms with her passing because of not being there to say goodbye and share all the great memories that will be mentioned today at her service……we said a little prayer for you and your family to give you strength to carry on and to believe she is in a better place and not suffering….

Al, Cheryl and families, so sorry I won’t be able to join you this weekend as you celebrate Lois’s wonderful life.
She was a great person to have as a neighbour and a friend.
I will miss our lunches together. She was so brave about her illness.

Words cannot express the sadness we feel over the passing of Lois. She was an amazing lady and we considered her our second mom. You are all part of some of the best times of our childhood.

May happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time. We, and mom and dad, will miss her immensely and will never forget her.

Dear Al and Family. We read the sad news of A dear friend and co-worker Lois or Loisi as she was known. I will remember our fun times and travels to Calgary, for convention and Al was travelling out there for work and picked us up and took us to see the beautiful sites in that great province. Our trips to Ottawa, Nova Scotia, and many places in Ontario. Our HPO nights at Hamilton Place, and Walters theatre. Many more great memories. I will never forget such a good friend Only regret is if we had met before the late 70’s. Our last meeting in March we had some laughs with you and Al. I will always remember my good friend who I loved.
    Till we meet again Loisi,
    Mary and Clair
