Danne, Finnigan William – His life was tragically cut short on Sunday, August 7, 2016, he will be sorely missed by his mother Vanessa Velke, father Neal Danne and his brothers Sebastian and Colin. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where the Service for Finnigan will be held Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the AHC, Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood Foundation, 2000 Town Center, Suite 1900, Southfield, MI 48075 would be greatly appreciated.

Finn touched the hearts of many staff, students and parents at Sir William Osler School. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loving family. We will miss his sweet face.

My name is Casey. I’ve often been asked jokingly where Finnigan is. I always politely smile and let people have their fun. I’ve never known anyone called Finnigan.
Well now, even though I didn’t know your beautiful son and brother, I have found my soul mate.
Please take comfort that the good folks of Dundas, the kind people of Hamilton and the caring population of Ontario is grieving with you in your loss. Your Finn has touched an astonishing number of hearts.

I was devastated to hear the news about Finnigan. I only met him once, but my memory of Finn is of sitting with Vanessa out on the back deck on Duke Street many years ago, when he was just a baby, maybe one or two years old. He was giggling and smiling from his mom’s lap, while she made funny faces for him and kissed him incessantly. So much love. Finnigan was so very loved. I am thinking of all of you, and sending thoughts of peace. Oh Vanessa, I’m so sorry…

Vanessa Neal Sebastian and Colin my deepest condolences for the loss of sweet Finn. Thank you for letting recently Finn over the past 2 years at SWO.
