Mark_PeterMark, Peter – With great sadness we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather who passed away peacefully at the age of 89 at home where he wanted to be on Friday, April 22nd. Predeceased by his loving wife Marion of 54 years.  He will be sadly missed by his son Terry, Randy (Kelly): grandchildren Rachelle (Gavin), Zach (Tamara) and Garrett and great-granddaughter Everly.  In earlier years Peter was called to duty, trained, uniformed and ready to serve his country from Camp Borden.  He was a mason and member of the Tuscan Lodge, No. 551 for 63 years.  In 1950 he owned and operated Mark’s Brothers White Rose Service Station at James and Burlington Street.  He also ran a home heating delivery service, Fuel Oil Supply Co.  They both developed a large following of customers and friends that had a great respect and trust for him for many years.  Our heartfelt appreciation and thanks are extended to Dr. Tracey Moriarity and staff of the Dundas Family Medical Group, the CCAC and VON of Hamilton, St. Elizabeth and PSW Caregivers, Emily and Justin.  A special mention to a long time independent Caregiver, Pricilla.  The care and compassion of each of you meant so very much to him.  A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S VILLA CHAPEL, 56 Governor’s Road, Dundas, on Wednesday, May 4th at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Milton Oakville Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
